Until we know that death is as good as life, and that it always comes in it’s own sweet way, we’re going to take on the role of God without the awareness of it, and it’s always going to hurt. Whenever you mentally oppose what is, you are going to experience sadness and apparent separation. There is no sadness without a story. What is is. You are it.
This class is for those who have lost a loved one (or a pet) through death, divorce or conflict. Your loss could be recent or many years ago. Fresh, raw grief can be very overwhelming to deal with and old buried, unprocessed grief can keep us from fully opening our heart to life. It can be very healing to go back and bring the light of inquiry into past losses. In this tender, respectful exploration we will identify, question, see through and be released from our painful beliefs about death, grief and loss, both universal and personal. The class creates a safe space for your own inner work, with Helena’s guidance, and is experiential in nature.
The Work helps us deal with the mental and emotional stress that comes with any loss in a very kind, profound way. Meditation helps us connect with that part of us that is unaffected by death, that is always at peace, waiting just below the surface. Peace is possible in the face of loss.
The Work was very helpful for me when my beloved son, Jon, overdosed on drugs at twenty-one. Again and again, inquiry supported me to see through and let go of the heartbreaking thoughts and guilt ridden accusations my mind kept throwing at me after my son died. For example:
“I have lost my closest soul friend forever.”
“I will never be happy again.”
“I can’t live without my beloved son.”
“It is my fault that he died.”
Inquiry helped me to become present to who I was without those stories and to the beauty of the process of letting go; opening my heart wide open. It helped me transform his passage into surrender, gratitude and love. I am awed to share this curriculum and I dedicate this class to my son Jon who gave me the biggest gifts through his birth, life and death. I will also share the beautiful meditation practices that I developed during my grief process.
From a previous participant:
“My experience with Helena in the Healing Heartbreak class far exceeded my expectations of an online class. From the moment I registered to the last moment of class, Helena was there guiding in the most warm, wise and heart-centered way. She created an extremely safe environment for all of us to investigate suffering around loss, grief and heartbreak. As a result, I was able to bring deep compassion to the pain and I now have a completely new understanding. And the seeds have been planted to continue investigating painful beliefs as they arise. I am truly grateful to Helena and the group of participants. This was transformational!”

Thank you for a warm, allowing and supportive course. To be welcomed into the heartbreak and sitting there with a friendly leader whom shares from her rich well of experience and wisdom was peaceful and healing. What I liked was the peace, the support and a variety of exercises that was there for me together with a non pushing but understanding delivery. Peace and grace in this space. Namaste.
